Google Chrome Shortcut Key
Below is a list of all the major shortcut keys used with Google Chrome Internet browsers. If you are looking for the shortcut keys used in other programs, see the computer shortcut page.

Shortcut Key Details
Alt + Home = Open your homepage
Toggle Alt + Tab = between browser windows
Alt + Left Arrow = Back to a page
Alt + Right Arrow = One Page Forward
F11 = Display the current website in full-screen mode. Pressing F11 again will exit this mode.
Ctrl + (- or +) = zoom in or out of a page, "-" will zoom out and "+" zoom in
Ctrl + 1-8 = By pressing Ctrl and any number 1 to 8 will go to the respective tab in your tab bar.
Ctrl + 9 = Switch to last tab
Ctrl + 0 = Reset browser zoom by default
Ctrl + Enter = This combination is used to quickly detect. For example, type "computer hopping" in the address bar and press Ctrl + Enter to get https://www.computerhope.com.
Ctrl + Shift + Del = Open Clear Data Window to Clear Private Data Quickly
Ctrl + Shift + B = Toggle hidden and shown bookmarks bar
Ctrl + A = Choose Everything on a Page
Ctrl + D = Add a bookmark for the currently opened page
Ctrl + F = Open the "Find" bar to search the text on the current page
Ctrl + O = Open a file in the browser
Ctrl + Shift + O = Open theBookmark Manager
Ctrl + H = Open Browser History in a new tab
Ctrl + J = Display Download Window
Ctrl + K or Ctrl + E = moves your text cursor into the Omnibox so that you can start typing your search query and do a Google search
Ctrl + L = Move cursor to the browser address bar and highlight everything in it
Ctrl + N = Open a new browser window
Ctrl + Shift + N = Open a new window in secret (private) mode
Ctrl + P = Print the current page or frame
Ctrl + R or F5 = Refresh the current page or frame.
Ctrl + S = saves the current page
Ctrl + T= opens a new tab
Ctrl + U = See the source code of a web page
Ctrl + W = currently closes the selected tab
Ctrl + Shift + W = closes the currently selected window
Ctrl + Shift + T = This combination re-opens your last closed tab. If you have closed multiple tabs, you can press this shortcut key several times to restore every closed tab.
Ctrl + Tab = runs through each open tab to the right
Ctrl + Shift + Tab = runs through each open tab to the left
Ctrl + Left-click = open a link in a new tab in the background
Ctrl + Shift = Open a link in a new tab and left-click Switch to a new tab
Ctrl + Page Down = Open the browser tab to the right
Ctrl + Page Up = Open Browser Tabs on the Left
Spacebar = goes down one page at a time
Shift + Spacebar = moves one page up at a time
Homepage = Go to the top of the
End page = Go down to the
Alt + Down = Display the options available on all previous text and drop-down menus entered in the Arrow text box.
