Desktop Beeping Fix ... The beep code is used by the BIOS during POST to report some initial system errors. If you are listening to the beep code after turning on your computer, it usually means that before the system was able to display any kind of error information, the system had to face some sort of problem.If your computer continuous start beeping it may be RAM problem then follow these steps to solve
- Before starting the work, turn off the computer, and then remove the power cord. After completing a task, replace any cover, reconnect the power cord, turn on the computer, and then listen to the beep code.
- Remove any media from the hard disk drive, CD / DVD drive, USB port, and memory card reader slot, and disconnect all non-essential devices (printers, scanners, external hard drives and the same).
- Disconnect the mouse and keyboard, and then restart the computer. If the beeping sound stops, repair or replaces those devices.
- Hot air can damage internal components! Remove any barrier blocking the vent. To remove dust clean the cooling vent on the case. If cooling fans stop spinning or do weird noise, then serve the computer.
- Remove the memory cover, and then restart all the memory modules. If the computer stops beeping, a memory module may not be fully seated or connected.
- If there are many memory modules in the computer, then install the computer with only one memory module installed. If the computer stops beeping, the memory module may be bad, or there may be the wrong type of memory for the motherboard. Re-enter the memory in the socket to see if there was a connection problem; Otherwise, change the module. Repeat this process for all memory modules installed on the computer.
