How to fix Broken pin on the Intel MOTHERBOARD LGA 775 socket.
1.Method
If a pin bends, it is possible to repair, but it is very difficult because they are very small. I was able to use a fast X-Acto knife with a magnifying glass (and good light) to push a pin back in shape. If a pin is broken, then hopefully it was on which pin. If it was a power or ground pin, then the system can still work fine without it, because there are unnecessary requirements for those people. If it was a PIN for DIMM slot (LGA1156 or LGA 1366, not LGA 775), then you would be fine until you use the respective slot.
However, if this is an important pin, the obstacles are poor. If there is a bit of pin balance, it is theoretically possible to remove the pin from a trashed socket and attach it to a conductive adhesive (or possibly just rotating it). But this is speculation on my part.
If you are really lucky, or you can afford it, then you can find someone with a professional hot air or infrared rework station. The entire socket can be removed, the board can be cleaned, and a new socket can be installed. It is usually prohibited to do on consumer devices such as PC motherboards, as long as the motherboard is not really high end.
2.Method
Push the pin through the socket from the back of the board,
Go on half or same and buy a behind-the-winscreen metal conductive paint for around Rs700.
Buy a well-organized drill bit and holder from a good tool shop. Drill through the socket in the hole of the broken pin, keep the drill bit as handy as possible as possible, fold slowly and press at the same time.
A little board will run through the board - this will be a painting.
Get the replacement pin and insert it in the holes, just drill the stitched pin of the pin behind the board, even if it is a little too small, okay.
Find your conductive paint bottle and insert a cocktail or nail in the bottle, so there is a small blob of conductive paint on the tip and the small piece of pin behind the board is to use a pair of gas or magnifying glass dab. Do not try and the solder because it will contact with other pins - dry it for a while, it works. - Check the PS that the new pin is in the right place and pointing to the right socket The direction in its place
3.Method
- You need an old motherboard with the same 775 socket
- Remove the pin from the root of the old bad mother bird socket
- If you delete the pin correctly from your bad board then this PIN is too long.
- This pin will be in two sections, break this pin from the center, and throw the bottom side pin and keep the top cement of your pin.
- Then place this pin in the upper part of the hole in your new board (broken pinboard), the pin breaks down with a little pressure.
Note:
No glue or solder or anything else and plz don't solder is not required that if you process the heat, the processor will melt the pin to solder the pin.
