Storage drives are very popular and important. There were days when 1 GB was a bigger size. But, nowadays, many terabyte storage drives are available in the market. However, you may still get this error "File is very large for file system file". Even when there is enough free storage available, you are also present when facing this problem. However, you can easily fix the file for the destination file system problem by tweaking some files.
You can ask yourself why you are facing this problem while transferring or copying anything in pen drive, SD card, external hard disk or local disk drive. The answer is very simple. You are receiving this very large file size warning because the destination file system is set to FAT32 or FAT12 or any earlier. The maximum file size for FAT 32 is 2 GB to 4 GB and FAT 12 is only 32 MB. This is the reason that these types of problems are more in older storage drives.

- Now, run a disk such as <disk drive letter>: / fs: ntfs. Suppose, your probabilistic storage drive is letter D. Therefore, the command should be like this.
- Generally, it should work without any issue. But, sometimes, it can demand your permission to remove the force. In that case, just press Y and press Enter.
