The flashing process for all "MTK" Android smartphones is almost identical. But for some time some special file is required to fix some errors during the process. For example, if you try to flash Moto C Plus XT1721 by using the universal method, then it can "load a DA before execution" as shown in the screenshot below.

In that case, you have to load the "DA_SWSEC.bin" file fist to remove the "please load a DA before execution" error in the Moto C Plus flashing process.

Steps to flash the Moto C Plus XT1721 firmware

• Extract all the files and save them in a folder for easy navigation as shown below.

• Install Motorola USB drivers on PC. [Skip, if already installed]
• Open the SP Flash tool folder and run the "Flash.exe" file as the administrator.
• Now click on "Select" under "Download-Agent" and load the file "DA_SWSEC.bin" from the main folder.

• Come on the device >> Power off >>> Connect the device with the PC via USB cable [Please wait whether it is updating the Windows driver.
• Finally, the device will detect the device properly and the flashing process will start. You can see the flashing process bar at the bottom of the tool.

• Once the flashing is complete, it will show a big green "OK" message. That means, the device shone successfully.
• The device will automatically restart. If not, reboot the device manually by pressing the power key.
